Did you know that the infrastructure and interlining of many of our accessories include tape and glue?

These materials are used to help keep things underneath the exterior leather in place as well as bind certain materials together

In this case, once glue was applied to the vegetable tanned leather, we added a heart-shaped piece of chipboard to give the leather a strong and stiff backing

It’s been a year 🥲
But as always, I’m incredibly GRATEFUL

I haven’t decided if me sharing this reel is cringy or not, but I’ve obviously decided to it anyway and share a little of how I felt this year…

Year two down running Fado Made full-time, and I naively thought it would be easier than the 1st. I started 2024 with so much confidence, momentum, and optimism, and held onto that feeling for the first couple of months, but slowly I feel like I lost my “mojo” and was faced with a lot of defeat, frustration, disappointment, and second-guessing.

Though slowly, Fado Made continues to grow and even if I am not exactly where I want to be right now, I have faith that good things are coming and the hard work I’ve put in will pay off eventually

It’s been a hard year for small business owners, so I know I am not alone. I admire anyone who puts themselves out there with the intention to build something that they believe in, and need to remember that for myself as well.

But again, I am grateful that I am able to do this. Thank you for being here and supporting my small business and big dream

Here’s to 2025. I hope it brings you good health and prosperity❤️
