Another month, another recap of the outfits I wore during my daily challenge to dress up for work (all styled with a fado made accessory, of course)

September concluded 4 months of my “dress up” challenge, and it is safe to say that it has become a part of my routine and it is definitely something I look forward to when I get up in the morning

I love summer so much and since it technically wasn’t over until the 22nd, I held onto my summer clothes until that day, and now feel ready to dip into fall transitional outfits

Though I’m in disbelief that it’s October, I’m ready for another month of challenging myself to refine my personal style and very much look forward to using my creativity in my fashion choices

Saturday’s workshop at @alliancebrewing was a great success and I hope to have the opportunity to host more in the future!

At this workshop, I prepared vegetable-tanned leather cutouts and gave participants time to decorate their leather with paint pens, followed by punching the stitching holes, and finally sewing it all together

the subtle sounds of pattern making ✂️

the production of any product begins with a pattern 📏

though each pattern is completely original and unique, all of our patterns are made from oak tag paper and undergo a similar process

we start by flattening the paper using the edge of a ruler, then scoring it to create a center folding crease, create pin holes for cross scores or style lines using an awl, followed by cutting

this process can be tedious and sometimes comes with a lot of trial and error, which is why when you order a custom namesake piece, we charge a $75 starting fee

this fee also includes multiple sketches and material options to ensure that your custom piece is 100% what you want
