Worn during Slow Fashion Festival ATX and Fleurish Knoxville to accompany garments made by Reclaim., this stretchable waist belt was made from scraps of avocado green top-grain leather from previous Fado Made Co. projects. Lined with vegetable-tanned leather for structured reinforcement, two gradually widening pieces of leather are joined by a thick piece of elastic measuring 7.5”, wrapped with matching green leather, so this belt can stretch to be between the circumferences of 27” to 31”. This belt expands with your body as you move to ensure comfort and security throughout the day and is brought together by a solid brass crescent-shaped buckle. Accented/assembled by hand with light pink leather cord and hand-painted edge paint for a sleek finish. This one-of-a-kind accessory was made to the measurements of the models who wore Reclaim’s outfit on the runway.
